Ready for Eddie Murphy as the Riddler ???????
Directed by Christopher Nolan and set for a 2010 release, working titled Gotham has reportedly tapped Murphy to reprise the role played by Jim Carey in 1995.
Shia LaBeouf will allegedly play sidekick Robin, while Christian Bale is set to return as the Dark Knight with Michael Cain. Rumor has it that Britain's Rachel Weisz will be playing Catwoman.
This all sounds like a bunch of bullshit to use - we hope!

I heard this today on Kidd Kraddick in the morning and REALLY hope it's not true. I was digging the thought of Johnny Depp as the Riddler and there's no room for Robin in this series yet. It's still WAY too early. Rachel Weisz isn't a bad choice as Catwoman, but I agree that Michelle Pfeiffer KILLED it as Catwoman!! My favorite Selina Kyle by far!

If they had bothered researching this then they'd know that there will be no Robin. So throwing Shia LaBeouf into it was stupid to say the least. Christian Bale said that he would chain himself to a radiator somewhere and refuse to go back to work if they had Robin. And whilst that is a nice image, I would much rather he was able to carry on making these movies. Robin is a daft character anyway and come on, does this new moody Batman need a sidekick? Anyway, my friend Jack was in Batman Begins, he was the kid that Rachel Dawes saved when he was lost, before the Scarecrow confronted them…remember "Batman will come, he will come!" Anyway, his character was supposed to be the young Robin - as in, that was his first encounter with Batman, the one that gave him faith in Batman. Jack was told by Chris that if they ever need a Robin (they won't ever put him in a lead or even much of a supporting role), they'd get Jack to play him. Jack's 18 now, so I suppose it is kinda possible…but not this movie.
