With all the recent news going on about Hollywood's latest hottie, Robert Pattison, we seem to be forgetting about Zac Efron.
But Efron knows better than to get faded out. So he's doing some good media worthy publicity.
On Friday, Zacquisha paid a visit to the patients at Los Angeles' Mattel Children's Hospital UCLA and their families.
Zac helped give away about $100,000 worth of toys with visiting with the critically sick patients.
And thanks to Efron partnering with Gifts.com, they were able to give out goodies like Tickle Me Elmo dolls, electronic keyboards, games, and of course some High School Musical products.
We're guessing no Twilight products were gifted.
A source said, "He really spent time bonding with each of the children and their families. The kids were smitten and beaming from ear to ear."
Adding, "Some of the kids couldn't even speak, but they had the widest grins and would sit as close to him as possible. Zac was super gracious and could not have been more kind and truly happy to be there."
He also took time to sign some autographs and pose for photos.
Be on the look out for Pattison volunteering soon.

This "charity" activity is nothing more than the publicists at Disney and CAA getting their aging cash cow some badly-needed exposure, as more and more of his target demoraphic ioses interest due to Zacquisha's total lack of any real acting talent and his complete lack of any personality.

Pretty-boy looks are one thing, but the public is very fickle, and this second-rate teen idol will soon be relegated to Hollywood's ash heap of used-to-be's and never-were's…….

I can understand why some people love Zac, but he's nowhere in the same universe as R-Pattz!
First, the risk of cutting Rob's hair knowing people love it I could NEVER see Zac taking the same risk because he cares too much about public opinion.
Second, Zac is known for his musicals and although Rob has a great voice, he wouldn't be in a musical, he's too embarassed by his work.
Finally, I could NEVER picture Zac in something as serious as 'Little Ashes'.

yeah right mario nobody in hollywood has forgetten about zac, trust me. For some reason that I love there were numerous clips of him and the other hsm stars all over tv this week. And there is regular coverage of them on E! and hello he just got his own segment on THS. So say whatever you want about him but he's still damn fine. And directors and producers regonize how talented he is so it really doesn't matter what you people think.
