Reviews of Tom Cruise's Valkyrie are beginning to trickle in, and they are not pretty!
One such review calls Crazy Eyes' performance "distractingly bad," "overshadowing" the pristine production of everyone else's work in the film.
From the production design, to the locations, to Bryan Singer's direction, to Cruise's supporting actors (Kenneth Branagh, Tom Wilkinson, Terence Stamp, Bill Nighy, and Eddie Izzard), the film is supposedly spectacular…with just one little problem: Cruise himself.
And then in "a scene that's supposed to be pivotal and poignant - when Stauffenberg [Cruise's character] reluctantly thrusts his partially amputated arm in the air and declares "Heil Hitler!" - instead comes off as laughable."
We hear that Xenu is not such a great acting coach.
Is it time for Suri to embark upon a paparazzi world tour?

I feel most sorry for the poor, non-celebrity Scientologists who are being forced to watch any major Scientolostar's movie/Broadway show multiple times out of their own pockets. Get out while you can! The economy is tanking; getting paid $50 / week to "volunteer" at Scientology centers are not worth your soul and dignity. This is a complete lie, Perez. Obviuosly you've never heard of Rottentomatoes , where all of the critics have articles listed. Right now, Tom Cruise's new movie is a RIPE tomoatoe. A rottentomatoe means that majority of the critics gave it a bad review. That simply is not so because I just checked. Before you tell millions of people that someone's movie is tanking, I suggest you check rottentomatoes before you embarrass yourself with a lie. WoW.

Of Course. The most disparaging thing about this movie is the time of year it is coming out and especially on Chritmas day, when you want feel good movies. Alot of us keep coming back to point out where you are bsing everyone and sucking up or getting paid by certain celebrities. Oh, and lets us not forget, straight ripoffs from other sites without credit. We need to start a campaign against Perez's sponsers. I know others have brought it up before. Can someone get a letter together or at least their emails and who ever feels that perez has become a bs master, write to the sponsers and tell them they will never purchase anything from them as long as they appear on this site. I happened to run across Mr. Cruise in NY and not only did he stop, but he spoke and was so genuinely nice I was taken aback. I have sense made it a point to not laugh at anything nasty a person has said about him because of any celebrities I have come across, he is the ONLY one who was nice. ONLY.
When you say a movie sucks, and it does that's one thing. But when a movie is getting good reviews and you point out the few bad ones (right now the ration of nation critics show his reviews are at 63/40 , meaning more people like it than not, then you are lying.
If you look at the reviews for any movie, there are ALWAYS critics bashing it. I use rottentomatoes religiously and box office mojo.
Leave TC alone. If there's celeb out there who doesn't deserve it, TC and Keanu Reeves are at the top of my list.

Can you believe how far Tom Cruise has fallen? Some days I have a hard time believing it, but I think he's mostly to blame for his own fate. Can someone find the old Tom Cruise and bring him back? He needs a good project.
I just wanted to add…I wonder if he'll ever be able to do another movie without getting panned by the critics. I guess the fans will speak through ticket sales.

Tommy probably did a better Heil LRH in that Scientology video. I don't think Tom is having a hard time so much because he's a Scientologist, but because he comes off as looney and unstable. The sad thing is, he created this image.
For those not in the know, this movie is what the industry calls a "hit and run." When a studio has an expensive shit movie on its hands, they premarket the hell out of it and open it on Xmas day, when everyone and their family has nothing to do but fight and typically goes to the movies. By doing this, the studio usually gets one big weekend out of a flop before all the bad reviews come in and it goes straight to DVD and cable. This particular piece of shit is so bad that the studio didn't even want to release it - Tom had to muscle them to do it.
Tom Cruise has always been a shitty actor, particularly on Oprah. He needs to come out of the closet and shoot some gay porn flicks, which is all he would be good for at this point in his lameo career.

wow, you almost have to sit back and say that sucks, really, I think that all of the bad press that he keeps getting is just getting to him. You can only get pelted so many times before you start to either believe what people are saying or you just start to feel badly about it all and it starts to affect your work and then your personal life and so on. I see that the movie is receiving B- review from "real" movie critics, 3.4 stars out of 5, and you know no one ever gets 5 out of 5. So I suggest that people stop listening to the gossip and go see it themselves. I want to hear what the people have to say about the movie, not the media and Perez.
Well i rather see the movie for myself. I love Tropic Thunder and Tom made me laugh, also he is always good in action movies.

Never have been a fan of Tom's acting….well, what others call acting but what I call just maniacal staring and acting cocky. What turned me off the worst, though, was 2005 and the year of Katie and Tom, not only the weird Oprah and Matt thing, but with all the posturing for the cameras, the over-the-top wedding coverage, just waaaay too much, like he had something to prove. And it's still that way…the way Suri is pimped around, all the promotion, promotion, promotion. It's like the guy and his promoters know they can't rely on his acting to do the job, he has to be heavily promoted as a "star." Well, sorry, there are other movies out there I want to see, and I don't have to be convinced that I want to watch the actors.

I seen Valkaryie this weekend and thought it was awesome! Don't let 1 hateful critic and 1 hateful blogger tell you different. Perez hates Cruise because of his religion or his stance on anti-depressants of which I'm sure Perez takes a handful of everyday hoping he overdoses I'm sure.
