Obama's Grandmother Remembered

Just days before Christmas, President-elect Barack Obama was in Hawaii remembering the grandmother who helped raise him and died only two days before her grandson was elected the first ever African-American President.
Madelyn Payne Dunham was 86 when she passed away.
Obama was surrounded by family members at a ceremony at the First Unitarian Church in Nuuanu.
After the ceremony, Obama and family drove to cliffs east of Hononulu, where they scattered Dunham's ashes at Lanai Lookout.
Earlier this year Obama laid flowers at the same location in memory of his late mother.

Boring!! I live here in Oahu, and this is old news to us, we don't give a crap about this dude and his fug wife.
God bless grandma, grandpa and the rest of the family. It had to be a shock to there midwestern way of life, when their daughter brought home a black man. They rose above the bs, and love their grandson in to a wonderful humanbeing, who is now the president fo the U.S. They had more to do with his success than any strategist, pundit or voter.
They chose to love him, and not ruin his life, via any stupid prejudices.
Obama totally thinks his wife is hot. He's always staring at her like he's ready to rip her clothes off and get down and dirty LOL
His grandmother was white in case anyone cares…Obama is bi-racial, NOT "african/american".

His grandmother was white, but Obama said he identifies himself as "African American", BECAUSE THAT IS HOW HE WAS CAST by the society. Why can't you deal with the fact that an African American will be the ruler of your country? Do you have a problem with that?

It is so unfortunate that she wasn't there to witness the beautiful person Barack Obama accomplished. Im sure she had great dreams for him, but she probably didn't imagine that raised a man who would make history.
This same situation happened to Jim Carrey, his father died right before Jim got paid 20 million dollars–a check he wrote to himself and his dad died right before Jim got it….
I think it is so beautiful that people who struggle raise children who take on goals that seem impossible, but make them real. Way to go Grandma…you showed the world how love and devotion can make a child become a wonderful figure and part of history. I just wish she would have been alive long enough to see this person become a product of her love.

This skirt is from H&M, I tried it on about a month ago. Thanksgiving is over so I think the whole harvest theme isn't really appropriate for a Christmas vacation.
