Heath’s Movie Banned

Despite raking in record box office ales numbers and great reviews, it seems not everyone is so receptive to The Dark Knight .
In fact, it won't even be released in China. Or even submitted for the censors' approval.
According to Warner Bros., they have decided not to release the flick based on "prerelease conditions" as well as "cultural sensitivities."
Officials are said to have been concerned about certain parts of the film. Especially the scene shots in Hong Kong where Batman happens to deal with mobsters. Not to mention there's also a small cameo by Hong Kong actor and singer, Ediso Chen, who's had some interesting photos show up this year with several different women.
But, no worries, this is China afterall.
Bootleg copies have already been available for months!

Hm. Is it considered "banned" if it wasn't even submitted to censors? I.e., censors didn't even have the chance to "ban" it. I think Perez is just sensationalizing a non-story with an incorrect headline. (What's new?!?) Or maybe he has genuine intentions BUT a limited vocabulary. That's what happens when you suck cock instead of flipping through a book.
I live in China and bought the movie on DVD for 5 RMB before it came out. I saw the flick in Taiwan at the IMAX last summer, so I really don't understand. Everything comes out in China, DVDs are out before the movie comes out most of the time.

This movie is awesome and Heath was an amazing actor. Its sad people won't get to see his last film
