We like the fact that he plains the piano. The song is not shiteous, but his voice sounds distorted and it's distracting.
Ryan is trying a tad too hard it seems like to us.

He doesn't sound bad. But I automatically don't like the song because there are children singing. There's nothing more annoying than the sound of children singing. Yuck.

yes -his mouth is too close to the microphone, and the volume is also too loud on the mike as well- but its hardly likely that he was playing for the Perez readers/ Internet-

I've always loved Ryan Gossling even in his Breaker High days. I think the music is awesome. Theres another song out there called Dead Mans Bones (yes like their band name) that is also pretty good.
Thank god the piano is louder than his singing.
The sound isn't the greatest but I think it's unique and his voice is good.

It makes me sad to say this because I love Ryan… but that was TERRIBLE. The kids and his voice were creepy, the song sucked and the drums were too loud. The good thing about it… he looked hot with vest and beard playing the piano. It is a shame he took a break from acting to do this.

I agree with a previous poster — very "Nick Cave". That said, I like it. The acoustics weren't the best, but it looks authentic — unlike some I could mention (hello, katy perry?). That kid at the end was cute.

To all you idiots who said this song is shit - If you stopped listening to crap like Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears, you might gain a good taste in music. If you like any of these crap artists I mentioned, try listening to good stuff like PSAPP, Ladyhawke, Thao and the Get Down Stay Down, Ladytron and Little Jackie (really just the song "The World Should Revolve Around Me").
