Mateo McConogay's new movie, Surfer Dude, is bypassing movie theaters and being released direct to DVD tomorrow.

They couldn't even afford to come up with a good poster.

So cheap!

      i saw this movie a couple days ago. there is NO plot! all there is were a buncha white hippie guys high on weed 24/7. dont watch… waste of your 5 bucks.

      It's actually been out a few days.

      I work for a distributor. Selling this to female customers was easy. All I had to do was mention a shirtless Matthew on the cover. Cha-ching!

      dude! you need to check your facts! it was in limited release in Sept. I'm sure if you actually knew about and attending the special screening in O.C. where Matthew appeared and introduced the film and did a mini Q&A and greeted fans, you would change your story! The movie is actually good. the people giving bad reviews must be expecting Citizen Kane or something. ITS A SURFER MOVIE people! Think of Matthew's character in DAZED AND CONFUSED, imagine him a surfer who is kind to everyone he meets. That give you a better picture. This pic is the DVD COVER!!! NOT THE REAL MOVIE POSTER!!!

      Matthew is getting too long in the tooth to be playing these roles….at his age it is sort of sad, not funny. He and Jim Carey need to realize their Youth Boat has sailed. Not so sure they can weather the transition. MMcM needs to get some plugs to fix that receeding hairline ASAP. Otherwise, next DVD will be Surfing Grandpappy!
