She is a terrible actress… she can only play the female lead in romantic comedies…. which is fine, just don't make up excuses for it… The reason she isnt getting better roles is because nobody is offering them to her!

Oh Please, some of the WORST mistkes in Hollywood were actors trying to extend their "Range". Does anybody remember Bill Murry making "The Razor's Edge" or Jim Carry and his many awful movies where he tried to do drama. IT's pathetic, if they are good at comedy let them do comedy. Nobody tells dramatic actors they HAVE to do a romantic comedy.

Oh yes, Kate, you're FAR too good to play a whore, or a prostitute, or a heroin addict. How can you pretend to be pretty and giggle your way through an entire movie with a role like THAT? It's just ridiculous.
What she'd really like is a very serious, very dark, Oscar-contender movie about a woman who, say, loses her dog while on her way to the flower shop to pick out flowers for her wedding when all of a sudden Matthew McConnaughy comes along and makes her rethink everything she thought she knew about love. Now that's a movie we've never seen before!

Kate Hudson should thank her mother she's even getting offered acting jobs. She simply cannot act in anything other than the lightest, fluffiest, no-calorie, see and immediately forget romantic comedies. She's at best a Z-list failed sitcom/reality show "actress" with no so-called acting skills or range other than her smile/laugh.
Humility is not one of Kate's virtues. I saw her on Leno once, and thought she was totally full of herself. She is not Goldie.
Amen, Kate. Everyone knows "I Know Who Killed Me" was a huge mistake for everyone involved.
