Angelina Jolie Announces That Her Next Movie Will Be...
Maleficent!
At least, we think it is! Almost positive, actually!
Angelina Jolie was at the Berlin International Film Festival today, where she is screening her directorial debut, In The Land Of Blood and Honey out of competition, when she announced that the long-rumored project was next up for her - even though she didn't specifically call it by name!
She explains:
"I haven't acted in two years, and I haven't done anything else since this . The next thing I am looking at is a Disney movie. The best thing to find that balance is to do something that is just for children. You know, you find different ways to make things matter. When, for example, you do fun action movies, they are empowering for my daughters."
And since we've gotten word that the Luc Besson movie she had been eyeing seems to have stalled, and Maleficent recently got Robert Stromberg as a director, we think it's safe to say that the Linda Woolverton-written adaptation of the classic fairy tale is definitely where we'll see her next!
So, so cool!

Was even colder in the GTA canada.. i think it was about -19 or -20 C ! (i think thats about -4 F) luckily i felt safe running around downtown though, that bloody face picture is scary!

I was in London this past October. One British guy I was working with would brag about how drunk he'd gotten the night before. He would say things like, "I was so pissed (drunk) that I wasn't even able to unlock the door to my flat, so I ended up sleeping on the sidewalk." He'd say that as if it was a GOOD thing, as if we were all going to be impressed with his excessive state of stupor.
I have to agree, Brits don't know when to stop drinking.

Woo go us! :p Seriously tho, this is giving us all a bad name. I was in Central London on NYE watching the fireworks, and I didn't see anything like this, just people having a good time. In fact, I saw tons of people having pictures taken with the police, who looked to be in a good mood themselves.
Most of us know how to drink responsibly.

at least they dont have guns over there like we do in the states. I worked NYE at a trauma center and we got gun shot wound after gun shot wound. it was insane.
Thats really disgraceful, I live in essex and it is giving everyone tht lives there a bad name, it is possible to go out for a night and have a good time (especially on new years eve) without gettting to drunk to function properly.

Re: The Mancunian Candidate – Here here!! On the whole Americans are a lovely bunch but you do get the occasional narrow minded idiot whose lack of intelligence and wit leads them to make such absurd comments.
The (majority) British mentality is to work all week and party all weekend. This causes some to over do it and end up like the pictures shown. I am ashamed of this side of the british culture yet I DO NOT accept that this only happens in this country. Also a drunken fight is far less deadly that a DUI or gun shot wound.
