Rosie O'Donnell has - for the most part - ignored her blog for the last month or so.
And, now, with this new post on New Year's Day, she pretty much confirms that she's giving up blogging.

I love her and support her decision. I read her blog often and enjoyed it, but she needs to do her thing. She's happy and healthy and deserves the best.

Wow- Harry Taint said it just right. She only gave one word answers to people who admired her- doesn't seem like she really cared about them much at all. Especially, if it is true that she ignored her blog for a month and then signed off with that short quote. That's cold.

As with any blog, ANY BLOG, everyone will get ANY BLOG, NO MATTER WHO is writing it, it is just a diversion for the reader. I as a reader, will find something else to hit upon. Unfortunately, alot of bloggers think they are important to many people and most just don't care

You sure have that right. Rosie has a lot of anger inside that she needs to release. Unfortunately, instead of sitting in a shrinks chair, she chooses to lash out on anyone who dares defy her.
In the alternative, if she is seeing a shrink, she should choose another one.
So to answer the question–No, I don't care one bit. I can't stand loud mouth Braten. The woman totally lacks class. I remember seeing a Barbara Walters interview of Kelly, her partner, where she said when Rosie met Kelly's family, she told them "I want to fuck your daughter." I'd say that's real classy.
It makes me sad, however I am not convinced she won't be around in some capacity. She is addicted to blogging aka the computer communication age.

I was addicted to her blog…I would check it several times a day! My family thought I was crazy. Her fans would write in and she would respond and it was really fun to read. I also loved her recommendations on books and movies. She was usually right-on with those. She would also post these video clips about her kids….they were funny and cool, even my kids loved them. Sometimes she would have celebs like Kathy Griffin on her video clips - hysterical. I am totally going to miss her blog….but I think she was co-dependent on it too….I can see why she stopped.

I think Rosie's become irrelevant and I don't think tons of people will be sad she's stopped blogging. It's sad what happened to her, I used to like her show a lot back when she was normal.
SO happy she is gone, her career is definately gone! She seems so miserable all the time and major grump! I am glad her show bombed, I certainly did not watch it. Very sloppy and nasty individual.

I believe she's fed up with all the trolling haters out there who ruined it for her fans that enjoyed it immensely. YOU HATERS REALLY ARE LOSERS!!!
