President Barack Obama is speaking up after these terrible tragedies.
This week, two black men were shot and killed by police officers in two separate shootings that took place within one day of each other.
On Tuesday, Alton Sterling was pinned to the ground in Baton Rouge, Louisiana by two cops, when one of the responding officers fired multiple rounds into him, claiming he was armed.
Then, on Wednesday, Philando Castile was shot multiple times by a police officer during a traffic stop in Falcon Heights, Minnesota as he was reaching for his license and registration.

Both men died from their injuries.
And now, the Commander-in-Chief has made a moving statement about the poor victims after landing in Poland on Thursday, saying:
"When incidents like this occur, there's a big chunk of our citizenry that feels like, because of the color of their skin, they're not being treated the same. And that hurts. That should trouble all of us.... This is not just a black issue. It's not just a Hispanic issue. It's an American issue."
He also pushed for a more widespread adoption of the Task Force on 21st Century Policing that he set up two years ago, adding:

I have been a HUGE fan of the BOOKS for two years now. But ever since the movie came out and a bunch of 15 yr old posers have been poppin their cherries over it i've been liking it less and less, this movie was so pimped out and the perfume just adds to it. I went into hot topic to return something i got for xmas and while i was there the kid pointed out the perfume and i smelt it. i was expecting like a fruity smell, since the whole point of twilight was "the forbidden FRUIT taste the sweetest" and it smells like soap. it made me hate the whole franchise even more.
This is completely a copy of Nina Ricci's "NINA" perfume. I'd sue if I were them! Ridiculous!

LAME HOT TOPIC… LAME. Overly commercialized and overly rated HOT TOPIC. I used to shop there but since I don't crap out money, I shop elsewhere.
I love Twilight. But I have to say….this is nuts. I went into a BORDERS recently and saw this perfume. I picked it up intending to buy it before I even smelt it. Then I sprayed it on my hand, thinking what one girl thought, that it would smell apple-y or fruity in some way based on the bottle. And like she, I thought it smelled like soap. But not good soap. Actually, the first thing that came into my mind when I smelled this fragrance was PineSol. So then I was like, "Ewww" and I put it back and didnt buy it. NOW, in defense of Twilight and Stephenie Meyer, I will say that I DONT think this fragrance is even an official Twilight product. I could be wrong cause I didnt look at the box to see if it said "Summit Entertainment" on it. But it seems to me like this was something done at the hands of someone who just wanted to bank in on Twilight, when they really had nothing to do with it. I would actually think that this pisses off Stephenie Meyer too. I cant imagine that she would approve of or want to do something like this. If she did, I'd seriously be hella shocked. I will also say thats as much as I loooooved the movie, the books are even better. So if you havent read the books, dont judge the Twilight franchise based on 1 movie you saw. Thats all.
