For many kids, Monday was the first day back to school after winter break.
In New York, Sarah Jessica Parker walked little James Wilkie to school, bundled up against the cold.
She's a hands-on mom, and a good one at that!

I'm not too fond of the long hair on little boys either, but AT LEAST she dresses him in clothes that are probably like what the other kids in his school are wearing. Would you rather him dressed in little suits, since I'm sure they can afford to? Everybody knocks Tomkat for dressng little Suri up in expensive clothes, which I also think is ridiculous. So leave SJP alone for letting her son be a normal kid who wears normal clothes and hand-me-downs. I think she's being a great mother-not one who just likes to show off her little prince, like alot of celebs do.
What I like seeing is the fact that he looks like a little kid from a normal family, not all dolled up in designer brands that half the world could only imagine wearing.

Most days it feels like your ears, fingers, and toes are gonna fall off when waiting for a bus…it's a bitch here in the winter, but I still love NJ/NY!

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention….I teach third grade in Harlem at a public school that requires uniforms. Once a week my students have gym class and there is a special gym uniform, sweatpants and t-shirt in school colors, that the children wear all day. So for all of you dissing this little kid, did you ever take a moment to think that maybe the sweatpants are part of his uniform? Maybe the little cutie had gym that day.

Why do practically all celebs dress their kids like ragamuffins ? This kid looks like he just rolled out of bed. Julia Roberts, Jude Law, Russell Crowe, etc. all dress their kids with clothes that look like they've come out of a second hand store.
