Oprah might be depressed, y'all!
Don't be sad, Queen O. The universe will weep for you!
Oprah premiered her "Best Life" week on Monday, with an admission that she had "given up" on herself last year.
Although the Queen herself did not say she had been depressed, adviser and fitness expert Bob Greene suggested that the Queen might have been suffering from mild depression.
Just so you know, a fitness expert is not a qualified professional, no matter how many psychology books he's read!
After speaking with the Queen last year, Greene said, "I looked in her eyes, and she wasn't there. She was very vacant and distracted. It was alarming to me. I think I felt she was losing her zest for life, and that was one of the saddest moments."
If the Queen is sad, there's no reason to go on!
While trying to balance all the different aspects of her empire, the Queen had trouble sleeping and she began suffering from heart palpitations, and that's when she began packing on the pounds.
Then she belatedly realized she had a thyroid problem, but that didn't make her any happier. "All this year I've been hiding my body because I didn't want you to see it. Here I am one of the most visible people in the world, trying to hide my body."
But the Queen O has resolved to have a brighter, healthier, more balanced 2009, saying, "When you love yourself enough, you take care of yourself. You have to make yourself a priority."

Poor old Oprah. Just goes to show that having all the money in the world will not buy you happiness - or health in her case.

On another depressing note - I just finished catching up on the "events" of the weekend I just missed and it was a thoroughly entertaining read . . . right up until the point when Orchid accused me of being the poster "Orchidgirl Is A Moron".
Orchid - I think at the very least you owe me an explanation . . .
After all, was it not I that defended you vehemently when Assume first began his war with you. For that I never even received a simple thank you. And now this??? What must you think of me to make that Assumption - maybe you and Assume have more in common than I thought.

Dear, the only explanation I can offer you is I was so overwhelmed by the hatred , insults and threats that were showered on me ( just ask LG , it was insane) , that I was hitting the wall in frustration . And a few of my marbles got loose.
Thyroid problem? Nah she burned out her metabolism with the liquid diets a looong time ago. Plus she is 50+ and everyone knows that the metabolism slows down even more as you age. Just get the surgery "O"! Take the easy way out like Perez did!
And if it wasn't clear before - Mistress is an adoring fan of Sensitivity - a man with a cutlass goes a long way in my books arrrgh!!!! So Mistress could never have said those things to him. So nah!!!!

Oprah is phony and full of sh*t. She is going to make another billion dollars off being fat just like she made the first couple billion off being skinny. She was hiding being fat? How could she hide being fat when she's on TV every day? They have been photoshopping all her imperfections off ever since she started her magazine so why not photoshop off the fat. Oprah really knows how to market herself and roll with the flow.

I saw the show and it sounded like that trainer Bob Greene, planted that seed in her mind. I think she was just unhappy that she gained weight. The trainer is kind of a tool.
