Glenn Goldman, the owner of Los Angeles' legendary Book Soup bookstore, passed away on Saturday from pancreatic cancer.

He was 58 years old.

      Unless you know or have known someone that has battled Pancreatic Cancer, you have no idea how terrible it is. You have been given a death sentence of you have been diagnosed with this disease. Only 2% of those diagnosed with this disease are alive 5 years later. Most die within 6 months to a year. It is horribly painful.
      I am sorry for your family and friends that they lost a loved one. I'm sorry for this man that he ever that he ever had to suffer. I'm happy that he no longer has to go through any more pain.
