What is clear is that Dan Rad hasn't been able to quit his love of smoking.
The Broadway peen-flasher supposedly annoyed his Potter castmates with his nasty, almost 20 cigs a day habit.

They are an item. She had lunch with him and his family on his last birthday, in London. He started smoking for the Equus role, I think, and is evidently hooked. I wonder how long it will be before he becomes an alcoholic. He drinks vodka and coke, a classic drink of alcoholics.
Actually this photo settles some things quite well. She had to have come clear from London to see him. He isn't gay. She isn't all that attractive so he must genuinely like her. And they are still an item. A showmance would have linked him with some young beauty, not a rather plain faced minor actress.

Well a lot of his charm has gone as he has grown up. Inevitable I suppose. He is now just another professional movie star. Still nicer and more modest than most, however, according to all reports. Equus did better this last week and filled about 80% of the seats. I bet he is happy about that.
Unlkie most movie stars who wear shades to disguise themselves more or less, Dan never does. If he did, he would be impossible to recognize. Hence I suspect he really wants to be recognized most of the time. And the celebrities who wear shades also want to be recognized, since even with shades the rest of their face usually gives them away. It's all SO FAKE. They all want to be recognized most of the time while pretending otherwise.
He isn't going to kick his smoking habit by acting in a play every day, almost, that requires that you smoke to play the part. The play was written before smoking became so uncool and the part requires that the actor smoke.
Whatever. It's his body and he's an adult who can make decisions for himself. You wouldn't like it if people told you what or what not to do, would you?
Dan was on Conan recently. He said a friend of his from the UK, Robin, is visiting. But he is staying in a hostel that doesn't have TV. I found it odd that Dan, who people say is worth forty million bucks, couldn't put his friend up for a while at a modest hotel that does have TV. I mean how stingy can you be?
Well, I don't know about you, but whenever I travel, watching TV is the last thing I want to do.

I don't think Laura is an "ex". I think she is the only girl friend he has had. She joined his family for lunch at a ritzy restaurant in London on Dan's 19th birthday last year, and here she is visiting him in NYC. I think they are a "couple" as it were, only they can't always be in the same place. Has he ever been seen dating anybody else?
