God forbid they lower their prices…close them all down! It does not effect my poor white trash ass!!

    Walmart is the future……

  3. 3

    Who's shocked? They're SO overpriced!

  4. 4

One of the locations is near me. Due to Macy's gobbling up so many department stores, there are actually TWO Macy's in the same mall. And I am sure that's happened more than once.

GOOD, they bought Marshall Fields. Chicago will never be the same without it.

We use to have a dept. store here where I live called Lazarus. It ws one of the major department stores in town. About 5 years ago it was bought out by Macy's. I grew up going to Lazarus, it was where my family shopped for everything. Since Macy's took over, I've been in there maybe twice. The employee's have no idea where anything is or if they carry what's in the sales ads, the prices are overblown on everything and the worst of all is that their items are just ugly. It's like shopping at a really expensive Wal-Mart.

One of the Macy's is where I live and honestly I can't believe it has made it this long. The mall is a dangerous place.

Re: MatsMoe – That was funny - I agree about their sales people - no customer service anymore you're lucky if they speak English. In America imagine that - that it would be a good idea if you could speak our language to work in public.

  16. 16

    11 dumbass. Can't you read?

  17. 17

they were not major stores - and they were in areas that had multiple stores or newly opened stores.

  18. 18

They're too damn expensive anyway. Maybe they should try lowering their prices and then MAYBE I'd shop there.

  19. 19

I heard that if u have a past due credit card with them that they r offering awesome deals 2 try and get u 2 pay. They should stop doing that darn parade 2 save money.

If you can't afford Macy's, then walmart is the best place for you. I personally can not stand walmart. I stopped shopping there. Everytime I wanted to buy a Large Item I couldn't lift, I had to wait anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes for someone to help. Even after several pages, no one came to my assistance. The walmart stores are always messy, the walmart customers are always throwing merchandise all over the floors, and parents don't control their children in that store. I prefer Macys to Walmart. At least I can get service for Items I can't lift. They are taken to the dock area, and all you have to do is take your car to the loading dock and the workers put it in the car for you, and I don't have to wait like in walmart. That is the way the Macys in Texas work.

I really don't understand all the rude comments about Macys. At walmart its worse. alot of people who work at walmart have a hard time with the English language, and you can't get assistance anywhere in a walmart. If a product is not on the shelf, than you are sol. Try finding a worker in walmart who gives a damn and will get it for you.
