It's the second red carpet pant suit spotted on a starlet this week!
The 35th Annual People's Choice Awards ceremony took place on Wednesday night. And Katherine Heigl accepted 27 Dresses' trophy for best comedy movie in a simple, black pantsuit.
She told reporters backstage that she wore pants because, "it was after the holidays, so I didn't want to wear anything strapless or anything I had to suck in my stomach for."
Fine. We'll take that excuse, Katie.

Since you're no fashionista Pervez, I'll help you out…fitted blazers and tuxedo jackets are hot, hot items this season. Perhaps that is why we are seeing these women wearing 'pantsuits'. We've said it before and we'll say it again…stick to the snarky gossip and leave the fashion and political commentary to those that know what the fuck they're talking about.

PEREZ, if you were UP on your NEWS you would know that Anne wore the suit b/c kate wore a dress so she let her be the BRIDE that night. Anne said that in the interview with hollywood access. You really are falling behind hun!

Seriously, i like her as an actrss and all, happy for her happy mariagge, but when i see her, especially smoking, all i see is an old lady wuth too much makeup drinking beer in a robe watching soaps with a gravelly voice. To me she looks old and I can't figure out exactly why.

I thought Katie looked amazing last night. Her make-up, her hair and her outfit. I can't figure out why you hate her so much, Perez. She's the only one with big enough balls to publically denounce Washington when he made the gay slurs towards TR. She stood up for her gay friend when even the writer was being hush hush. I figure you'd adore her. So what if she is cocky? Many stars are. I think she's great. Attitude and all.
She looks stunning from her sandals to the earings all her outfit, her makeup, hair style all is well put!! Five stars for her!!
There is nothing the matter with her pantsuit - she looks great and Anne looked great too. You're hardly one to discuss fashion with the whacked out crap you wear.
