Dark Knight Receives Nod From Directors' Guild

We're still a while away from the official Oscar nominations, but, in the meantime, we've got a bunch of other awards which might predict how the Academy will vote.
And so far, things are looking good for The Dark Knight, starring the late Heath Ledger in his much lauded role as the Joker. The Directors Guild of America nominated Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan for their top award, making it one of the few action films to receive such an honor.
The other nominations include Danny Boyle for Slumdog Millionaire, David Fincher for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Ron Howard for Frost/Nixon, and Gus Van Sant for Milk.
We'll have to wait until January 22nd to see who the Oscars nominate!

Thank God ,I saw that one movie where he played a junkie.It was fantastic so believeable "so believe me he deserves every credit .Not only the Dark Night (commercial) But all the other roles he put his heart and soul into.He was so versitile and could and could play any stretch.Not a one tine wonder!!!RIP.

Shitty movie but Heath dead or alive he put on a Oscar worthy performance I would say. Although could he be as good a villain as Javier Bardem in no country for old men?? Now that dude was sick in the head. And what was up with batmans voice in the movie?? I personally prefer Keaton as batman
Dark Knight was a good movie, but it wasn't great. It's getting all this attention becasue of Heath Ledger. I love Heath, but come on:(
