New Spider Man Issue Costars President-elect Barack 'Comic Book Nerd' Obama

With his grand speeches and coolness on the basketball court, it's easy to forget that underneath it all, President-elect Barack Obama is a bit of a nerd.
When the President-elect was a kid, he loved collecting Spider-Man comic books.
And, now, Marvel comics has fulfilled what we're assuming is one of Barry O's nerdy childhood dreams!
Spider-Man publishers wanted to give him a "shout-out" back for championing the nerdy past time by featuring him in a bonus story in issue #583.
The Obama story reportedly starts with Spider-Man's alter-ego, Peter Parker, taking photographs at the inauguration, before spotting two identical Obamas.
Parker decides "the future president's gonna need Spider-Man," and springs into action, using basketball to determine the real Obama and punching out the impostor.
Obama goes on to thank him with a fist-bump.
Loves it!
Issue #583 will be available in comic book shops nationwide on Jan. 14 for $3.99 and is expected to sell out, with half the covers devoted to Obama.
Obama is the first president to have an entire story crafted around him.
Past presidents merely had 'walk on' roles.

I have a confession. Even though I have always been a die hard republican and didn't vote for Obama, I'm excited about him being in office. I'm glad he won. I think it will really bring a breath of fresh air to the country and he impresses me as a very level headed person who ready and willing to unite and bring the country together for the best of humanity and the rest of the world. God bless our next president. And I hope everyone can put aside their differences and pray that he has much success in achieving our goals. There is nothing more treasonous and worst in the world than a person who does not wish the best for their leader.
