Ryan O'Neal Pleads Guilty to Meth Possession Charge!!!

Back in September, actor Ryan O'Neal and his son, Redmond, were arrested for meth possession.
Well, it looks like Ryan's earlier claim that the meth found by police belonged to his son was a lie!
On Friday, Ryan pleaded guilty to the felony charge of drug possession and agreed to enter an 18-month drug deferment program.
The case against him will be dismissed if he successfully completes drug counseling and other requirements.
O'Neal's lawyer said, "Ryan was anxious to move on with his life with privacy and dignity and that's what we're trying to do here today."
Redmond O'Neal's hearing has been set for February.

What an immensely fucked up family. The O'Neal's have been living like this since the '70's. Tatum and Griffin raised themselves, while Mom and Dad lived only for themselves. Redmond has been in and out of trouble since he was about 12. In Ryan's warped mind, doing meth with him was probably his idea of bonding. Sad!

I've always been curious… how do you define drug? If you don't NEED it, but you are taking it to achieve a certain feeling or satisfy a certain craving… isn't that a drug? I'd bet money that during your sporadic rants at others about their drug use you are often to be found sipping on something from Starbucks. Isn't it true that you, in fact, are a drug user just like most of the rest of the human race? Isn't it true that the real division here is the people who know how to moderate themselves in whatever it is they are doing and those who seem to trend toward sloppy and excessive? Too much of anything is not good. I'm not saying all drugs are good, some of them are great!

This is pretty sick. Ryan is old enough to have had many drug experiences in his earlier days. The guy must be in his 60's and he is doing scum drugs like meth…what a loser. If he wanted to smoke pot with his kid…not such a big deal but these gross stepped-on chemical drano drugs…LOSER!

I saw him on a Leave it to Beaver episode the other day.
Tho he's no angel, his son clearly has a serious problem, seeing as was with the case he likely plead guilty to take some of the fall off his son. May not seem to make sense but if he first claimed that he was holding it from his son, hence the possession charge in the first place. No one really knows the truth but just because someone pleads guilty for possession doesn't make him guilty, it's likely to quicken the trial process and settle out of court. It's a messed up family however just by looking at his son you can tell he is a meth user, chances are, the meth was Redmond's.
