Of course she says that, she's young and thin. Give her a few years and her metabolism slowing down and the pounds adding on and let's see how she feels then.
First of all, some people are naturally skinny, very much so - and trust me, I am not one of them, but I know both men and women who are. Secondly, she is going to eat those words one day. In Hollywood, you want work, you fit with the image they set out for you. Even Kate Winslet has lost a great deal of weight and she used to say she was proud to be her size (even though, there was NOTHING wrong with her size, she was thin enough). Thirdly, Emma Watson must be blind as a bat, she is very skinny, so who is she talking about? It's contradictory to say that she is against being very skinny and then be what? A size two or four at most. She is still a young girl, and needs to learn to be careful about her words when she talks to the media.

She has grown up in front of the world from an adorable little girl to a graceful, stylish, smart young woman who hasn't gotten sucked into Hollywood and "fame". Congratulations Emma and the best of luck in all your endeavors in the future

I adore her but she's still a silly little girl. Until I hit my early 30's I could eat everything and anything and weight wouldn't budge over 105-108 and a size 2 or 4….now, I can gain 5 pounds by looking at a cheeseburger! Time and age is nasty to a metabolism!

I wonder if UK young stars have a little less pressure to be super skinny. I've been watching a lot of BBC shows over the holidays and they all seem to have more natural body types. It was kind of refreshing to see actors with a variety of body types. However, I worry that as they cross the pond there may be pressure to keep up with Hollywood's standards. Either way, I think this young lady is super cute regardless.

I feel the same way. I get called fat when i'm just not freakishly skinny and it hurts my feelings and gets me really mad. not only do i own a pair of pants my freind gave me, who doesn't get called fat, but i'm doing well. (according to my mom's side of the family, i'm soppost to be bigger. like alot bigger)
