"A staggering 2.6 million jobs disappeared in 2008, the most since World War II, and the pain is only getting worse with 11 million Americans out of work and searching. Unemployment hit a 16-year high of 7.2 percent in December and could be headed for 10 percent or even higher by year's end."

this sucks. I've lost my jobs and now am having a hard time paying bills. with all this going on, the credit card companies are still brutal! Government needs to do something about all the people who r being affected with bad credit during this time because millions and millions r finding themselves living on credit at this time.

I am one of those people. I broke my ankle and they took away my job. It sucks.
As one of the millions of people out of work this news depresses me more then I thought I could be. I spend hours every day, seven days a week looking for something and there is NOTHING! I really don't know what my family or I are going to do if I can't find something soon… We'll be on the streets before long. Someone has to do something before things get worse!
