Madonna's New Diet????
Looks like Madonna will do just about anything to stay thin and look young.
The latest reports claim that Madge has started a salmon "retox" regimen in order to look younger. She's even supposedly hired some experts to help her with the program.
A source says, "The new 'retox' means she has got a more cardio-intensive gym regime and a diet overhaul. She will also be eating a lot more salmon as it's got age-defying properties. Her aim is to knock 12 years off her appearance."
It was reported previously that she spends over $120,000 a year on bottles of "specially blessed" Kabbalah water. It supposedly helps keep you looking "fresh and young."
A source close to Madonna says, "Madonna drinks a lot of water - that's one of her fitness secrets. And Kabbalah water is the only stuff she will touch."
But as for that weird fish diet, it turns out others do it as well. Like Liam Gallagher of Oasis, who says he eats fish every day because it keeps him slim.
Gallagher even calls himself the "Salmon King" and once said "I'm always banging away at the fish man. My top three fish are salmon at number one, sea bass at two and sardines are third. My number one dish is fucking salmon and stir-fry.
Let's hope Madonna doesn't get….. "mercury poisoning"!

I used to LOVE Madonna and have followed her career since she arrived on the scene in the mid 80's…that being said, she has all the POWER that tons of money can buy, so why the need to continue presenting herself as a 24 year old!!!
It is no longer becoming to her and has really turned her into a bit of a freakshow instead of the creative icon she could be.
Maintaining health and vitality is important, as well as looking your best, but I think that she is deluding herself if she thinks she is never going to physically age and show it.
The sooner that she learns to love herself for all of her accomplishments instead of focusing on superficiality, the happier she will truly be. Her lack of true spirituality doesn't speak well for Kaballah! Boo!!!

12 years off?? Where did that odd F'ing number come from? Is that because women at 38 are not considered Cougar enough looking yet? I think it depends on the 38-yr-old because I've seen some rough looking ones and some that clearly looked terrific for almost being 40. Does everyone have to be reminded that when Anne Bancroft played Mrs. Robinson she was only 35? I personally feel that to deny yourself the ability to age gracefully is a form of denial and it is not just a superficial thing. Unfortunately, she can't keep a marital relationship together — probably because she's so focused on herself and her looks. Hope her kids don't feel like they have to be "in line" for her attention too after her health regimes, diets and cardio crap. I think any kid would rather have a mom who is content with herself and her life than one who is constantly RUNNING ahead of Father Time!
Looking past the reasons why Madonna may be trying this, this type of diet does work. I'm following Dr. Nicolas Perricone's regimen, which this sounds like. It does help keep inflammation away, and while some can argue whether aging is caused by inflammation, I know that other skin problems are affected by it and I have noticed changes. Nothing wrong with trying something new!

It is not healthy to eat that much fish in one week, due to the levels of mercury. I'm sure a lot of people know this by now, but maybe she's eating some kind of special farmed Kabbalah fish? Who knows with how insane she is.

It must be exhausting to be Madonna and constantly chasing the fountain of youth. Maybe plastic surgery would be easier than all this stuff she's constantly doing. Salmon is definitely good for you, but you really do have to be aware of elevated mercury levels if you consume it a lot. I hope she uses sunscreen diligently, that's the best thing you can do for your skin related to aging.

I actually had shabbat dinner last night with Madonna! It was at the Learning Center in Manhattan. Let me just say, she looked BEAUTIFUL.
