do you know if this organization supports the ideals of westernization? do they just go over and teach people english, and how to support themselves like we do? do they destroy the little culture left on this earth? and make languages like swahili and jula extinct? if so then i would never support an organization like this.

Actually, Hidgee, you should do your research before you go on running your mouth. I am a City Year Los Angeles Alum, and we did spectacular work in inner city communities.
I think it's Great that you are finally reaching out to help some blacks. They are so independent, such hard workers, and so law abiding, but even more than that They Like To Do Things for Themselves, seldom if ever will these hardy energetic people extend a hand asking for non blacks to hep them. I for one think this is a very good cause?
Wherever these fine people decide to put down ROOTS you can be assured Property Values will skyrocket and Crime Will Disappear? oNLY diversity CAN SAVE AMERICA.
I worked a year for City Year San Antonio, and I can tell you this is an organization that really may save the world. They only work in the U.S. and South Africa (last I checked), and their goal is to empower young people improve their lives and the lives of their community.
