Clint Eastwood Is #1 at the Movies

Old school Hollywood beat the new kids this weekend!
Clint Eastwood's critically-acclaimed new film, Gran Torino, is this weekend's #1 movie at the U.S. box office. The flick pulled in a nice $29 million for the studio.
The old dog still has box office juice!
The Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson chick flick, Bride Wars, made $21.5 million and placed a respectable second.
Rounding out the top three is the horror movie, Unborn. The Universal movie made $21.1 million and just missed #2 by a few points.
Eastwood has said that Gran Torino will be the last film he acts in.
So catch it while you can!

i watched it and it is a good movie, but to be sitting at no.1? i dont think so, there are many flaws in it aswell. its only at the top spot because its eastwood and he's using alot of racist terms. lol

The amount of racism used towards Asian Americans was insane! Overall though, it was a good movie!

it was an ok movie…would NOT recommend it. That kid he hired fucking sucked..like seriously, he looked the part and that was the only qualifications. What happened to real actors?!!?!?

This movie was awesome…I don't care who you were or what race you are…I was sitting in the movie theatre with all different types of people, and everyone loved it. This movie will definitely receive an award. Loved it!

I love Clint Eastwood!!! He spoke at my college graduation and was super cool with everyone before and after commencement. I went to a small school, so I was able to shake his hand and get a picture! What a great guy!

I love Clint Eastwood as much as the next person, but I do not want to see him all geriatric and trying to convince me that he's taking down gangs… as a one man recking crew. Please, make this man stop! I wanna remember him as dirty Harry. Not old guy taking down Asian gangs alone…

Saw this movie on Saturday and it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! What an incredible movie. One of those ones that you think about a lot after seeing it. GO SEE IT!!! Trust me. Not a waste of your hard earned cash (FINALLY!)

Gran Torino was such a good movie! i saw it three weeks ago and was amazed by it. I didn't know it would be the last movie eastwood would act in, but if he's still directing, thats fine with me because he's one of the best.
