Plane manufacturer Boeing is cutting a whopping 4,500 jobs - most of them in Washington state.

      would you stop printing the economy crap!!! 1st-people would rather read your madeup bullshit, 2nd, I don't think you read the articles or understand what they mean. NO aircraft mechanics, line production people will be laid off, it said it will mainly be long term contractors, clericals, etc. Clericals will hopefully be able to find jobs in other fields. aircraft mechanics would have alot harder time. anyway, stop posting this stuff, we see it everywhere else and it is not gossip. we could watch the new or read the people and see it in its original context.

      What would we do without these giant companies anyway. people are getting laid off everywhere. 5% of the country does not want to work anyway, so welfare is a joke. Stop wasting money trying to give it to those who will abuse it. You'll never get 100% employment because 5% do not want to work.

      well that would explain why when my husband went to their website last week to see what jobs were available there was no current listings. its so sad. i hope they all find work quickly.

Unless you want to do temp work, it's amost impossiable. Long term contractors? Unless Boeing wants a lawsuit, I highly doubt thats true

      and yes, boeing is constantly laying people off and then bringing them back, but this is different, when you have companies going out of business, and laying off people in record numbers, this is only the begining for boeing, i hate to say
