Barack Obama made an unannounced visit to the Lincoln Memorial in the state capital on Saturday. With his family in tow, they took in the statue and some of the memorial's other exhibits.
Continuing his homage to the 16th President, Obama will use the same Bible that was used to swear in Lincoln, becoming the first President to do so. The Inauguration luncheon will include a menu that Honest Abe would have enjoyed.
Continuing his tourist tour of Washington, Barry hit up Ben's Chili Bowl with Washington mayor Adrian Fenty, where they ordered the house special - a Chili Half-Smoke with a heap of cheese fries.
We hope they also brought some Imodium AD!

You may or may not know, but Lincoln couldn't care less about slavery.
He only "freed" the slaves as a political move against the South.
The Civil War was never about slavery or African-Americans.
It was about the power of the Federal government over the states' rights.
That's all. Nothing fancy. Lincoln himself said "If I could end the war and not end slavery, I would do it". Slavery was a tool Lincoln used against the secession movement. So Obama is only impressing uneducated yahoos.
