OK, let's all stop blowing bullshit up kelly's nose… THIS SONG IS STUPID AS HELL & the melody sounds WAAAAY TOO MUCH like 'Since you been gone'. If she doesn't make the decision to return to the r&b sound that she had on her first album[pretty fucking quickly] she'll be as 'OVER' as the Fantastic voiced Fantasia Barrino.
I really cannot understand why these two wonderfully talented women allowed the public to hear how great they could be on idol & then are repeatedly choosing to piss away a chance of a lifetime by pumping out shit they 'think the public expects from them'
J.ust because kelly is p.w.t. doesn't mean she should try to sing it & just because fantasia is p.b.t. doesn't mean she should put that on her albums either!
AGAIN> Let's be honest…how are the album & concert sales going ladies?
Be smart girls…sing what you are good at not what you look like.
At least try it…at this point~what have you 2 got to lose?

The song was written by lukasz gottwold a.k.a "dr. luke" he wrote the chorus years ago but just recently wrote the verses. The songs pretty bland as luke sounds creatively exhausted. The album also features a couple of leftover songs that he wrote for the katy perry album. FYI he also wrote "since u been gone".

This song isn't particularly one of Kelly's bests…I agree; however, I do think those who doubt My December need to actually go back and LISTEN to it. This is a classic case of when someone says something is bad they assume it is just because someone said so. She unleashed herself from the machine and came up with something unbelievable. REALITY…I guess we can all watch people eat bugs or live in a house with a bunch of people and stamp that as reality. But when someone sings the truth we can't listen. And there cannot be disorder amongst the mass. Thus Clive Davis….Perez…and anyother asshole who didn't really listen. Anyone can relate to a particular song on My December. Its not all butterflies and rainbows…which isn't reality. It's raw and it's painful…which is life. So I challenge anyone who only listened to Never Again and gave up….to go back and really LISTEN.

Honestly, there was nothing wrong with her last album to begin with… if they actually promoted some of the songs on her previous album, they would have done just fine on the radio, and probably would have been this. With the last one, they were clearly just slapping her on the wrist for wanted to go somewhat in her own direction. Sad. It pisses me off that people say she's back, but she was never gone to begin with. I like the song, but I feel bad that this is the way they're making her go this direction when she'd probably rather go another route but would just get slapped on the wrist again. Damn industry.

I like it. While I appreciate the darker Kelly Clarkson, I firmly believe that not all artists are good song writers. Some are really talented at performing song written by others…and that's totally cool.

I think it's awesome. My December was a very good and serious (for the most part) album, so now she's coming out with one more fun and upbeat. It's not selling out, it's keeping things new and interesting.

Perez… I love ya sweetie, but you are so sadly mistaken about Kelly's "My December" album! It was an artistic expression… she went out on a limb… cut the poor girl some slack! Many of the songs were beautiful and full of raw emotion. I honestly think it was some of her best work, and much better than so much of that cookie-cutter pop out there.
