Patrick Is Doing Fine

Patrick Swayze was rushed to the hospital last week. The actor, currently battling pancreatic cancer, has come down with a case of pneumonia.
Patrick's mother, Patsy Swayze, is speaking out about her son's hospitalization. She says he is "dong fine. He sounds really upbeat and positive. We don't talk about illness when I talk to him. He hasn't even been there a week!"
Let's hope the 56 year-old Patrick makes it out of the hospital soon and without any complications.

He may as well smoke until the end now. His immune system is weakened but if he lets up on the chemo, the cancer will be even faster in it's deadly advance, a catch 22. I hope to go with a quick heart attack someday, not like this.
Not to sound oh so negative, but I'm really surprised he has lasted this long. He isn't "doing fine", that's bullshit.
I was never really a fan of his before now, but he's faced his cancer with such courage. The beast isn't my kind of TV show, but I'll be watching on Thursday. Go Patrick!!
In this case, I think "doing fine" means he isn't dead yet.

OH GAWD. NOBODY CARED ABOUT HIM UNTIL THEY FOUND OUT HE HAD AN "ILLNESS". NOW HE'S "STRONG" AND "BRAVE". BULLSHIT. IT'S NOT LIKE HE VOLUNTARILY GOT SICK, IT HAPPENED, AND NOW HE'S TRYING TO SURVIVE, NO BIG DEAL. UNLESS IT'S A PR STUNT WHICH I WOULD NOT BE SUPRISED.
