Regis To Get New Old Job!

Regis Philbin may be pushing 80 (he's 77!) but he's still very much in demand these days!

The morning talk show host is being pursued to take his throne again as the host of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?.

Michael Davies, the series' executive producer has said he wants to bring the game show back, possibly in time for August, which would mark the show's 10th anniversary.

And, although Davies wants Philbin to return as the host, that might be an issue considering Regis currently hosts Million Dollar Password on CBS.

But does anyone even watch that show?

Reg has two more episodes remaining in the original six-episode order of Password. CBS has not commented yet on whether or not it will order more shows. If they do, that pretty much means even if Philbin was interested, he wouldn't be able to host the ABC comeback show.

What about asking Meredith Vieira???
