"Complex" Condition Forces Steve Jobs To Take Medical Leave
Uh-oh!
It doesn't look good for Apple's Steve Jobs!
Earlier this month he addressed the public through an email on the Apple website in what he had hoped would be his first and final statement on his declining health.
It seems that his health has taken a turn for the worse as he has issued another email stating that he will be taking a medical leave until June.
Says Jobs:
"Unfortunately, the curiosity over my personal health continues to be a distraction not only for me and my family, but everyone else at Apple as well. In addition, during the past week I have learned that my health-related issues are more complex than I originally thought. In order to take myself out of the limelight and focus on my health, and to allow everyone at Apple to focus on delivering extraordinary products, I have decided to take a medical leave of absence until the end of June."
In the meantime, Apple's chief operating officer, Tim Cook, will be in charge.

Jobs has been on my mind lately because of Patrick Swayze's health. I was thinking that Swayze should contact Steve, since he's the only person I've ever heard of who has survived pancreatic cancer for nearly five years.
What a shame.
Anyone see Pirates of the Silicon Valley?? Karma is a real bitch…. I'm just sayin' - I hope he gets better anyway, and perhaps this will cause him to become a better person….
Crap! Well, even though Steve is synonymous with Apple the company will still continue to put out cool products. Steve has had a backup plan in place for a very long time, just like any CEO. People don't live forever and accidents happen. Still, I hope he comes out of this with his health intact and doing better than ever. Most likely he just needs this time to get plenty of R & R at home and to focus on his health and not all the headaches that being a CEO brings. I wish him all the best. Now, everyone needs to stop all the doom and gloom and counting him out. The poor guy's not dead yet!
