Jackie Chan To Star In Karate Kid Remake

Jackie Chan has waxed on to the upcoming Karate Kid remake.
The remake is to be produced by Will Smith's Overbrook Entertainment and is intended to operate as a starring vehicle for Will's son, Jaden.
Barf!!!!
Chan will star as the eccentric mentor who teaches Jaden's character how to draw on his inner strength to overcome schoolyard bullies.
Production is scheduled to begin this summer in Beijing.

I'm sorry but the first Karate kid is my favorite movie and Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith will not do it justice.
Jaden comes off too pretty, and arogant. They need to give it to an unknown actor who can act, down and out and be believable.
