Speed The Plow Plays To Empty Theater

Despite all the mercury hoopla, Speed The Plow seems to be suffering without Jeremy Piven's presence.
Attendance has been falling faster than the Pivert's pants at a bikini party!
This week's box office attendance numbers reveal that Plow was one of the emptiest plays on Broadway.
Even Shrek is doing better!

1st, Shrek is supposed to be a family type show and is supposed to be good. Speed the Plow, most people were going to see piven. Now, because people are watching money, you can get tkts and discount tkts to almost any show and speed the plow, does that title really sound exciting????
why do you bother with Broadway anyway? very few of us are from NY and alot of us from NY really don't care, so why would the rest of the country?
the show was great. i saw it last week.
i just don't think the play itself appeals to many who are just "looking" for a show to see one night.
big musicals tend to draw a wider audience.
this play has a 3 person cast and is 90 mins long.
great–but many don't know how to appreciate.
