L Word Spin-Off News!

Now that The L Word is in its final season, it's time for the spin-off!
And what have they got in mind?
A "female Oz"! Yes, as in the gritty prison drama!
With Leisha Hailey's character, Alice Pieszecki, going to jail, the new show will follow her and a cast of characters (not all of them lesbians) in the big house, although Showtime President of Entertainment Bob Greenblatt says it will not be as "dark" as Oz.
The show is still in its pilot stage and a decision will be reached in a couple of months.

Wow….first they announced that the focus of the last season was finding out who killed Jenny, and now they say the spin off is Alice in jail. Idiots! Spoiled it already!

HBO Latino has already done this….this fall the premiered a series called Capadocia…..and let me tell you it was amazing! It's about convicted Mexican (female) prisoners and the corrupt Mexican prison system. Can't wait till it's comes back! Nothing like any tele-novela ANYONE has ever seen, very gritty and raw!
This shows a lack of knowledge of the news you are "reporting" on and a lack of tact as this information should have been under a spoiler alert cut. If you were really knowledgeable about the entertainment industry you spend so much time judging, you would be aware that this bit of information effectively ruins the main plot point of the final season of L Word - who killed Jenny? I have enjoyed this site for a while , but recently the immaturity and self-promotion have made it almost unbearable. Well done.
L-word was a dumb fucking show. The thing that pissed me off the most is that the only girls getting naked on the show where the ones with no tits. Who wants to watch surfboards getting it on, especially that super skinny dikey hairdresser one. Nasty fuck she is.
A light hearted lesbian prison drama………Why not make a totally balls to the wall insane prison drama based on Caged Heat, Chained Heat or Reform School Girls. This sounds like it will be at the prison Martha Stewart was at.

this leaked months ago, nothing official back then but anyways. The last season sucked and it feels like the 6th will suck, too… but Alice's character is cool, so i hope they don't ruin it completely. Oh and, yes, big spoiler alert :/

Wait a sec–HBO already brought us Mexico's "Capadocia," a prison-themed show. The actresses on that show were superb, and the music outstanding.

Theres no difference between males and females. In female prison, you face daddys and everything that comes along with it (NAUGHTY JUNGLE OF LOVE!) just as if you were a man in the state pen.
