ON ANOTHER SUBJECT…DULCE DE LECHE! I SAW A BRITISH COOKING SHOW AND THEY PUT A CAN OF EVAPORATED MILK (PAPER REMOVED) AND JUST BOILED THE CAN FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS AND WHEN THEY OPENED IT THEY HAD SOMETHING SIMILIAR TO DULCE DE LECHE!

Re: Hot Monkey Love Obama Style! – that's how i usually do it………problem is in the timing…..i never get two batches the same………open too soon and it's too runny and pale….wait to long, and it turns custardy and the sugar starts to crystallize……..i've had better results if i pour it into a dish with a pinch of sea salt and cover tightly so steam doesn't get in…..put the dish in another dish with an inch or two of water…..bake in 350 oven for about 1 hr 45 minutes or so……….this way you can check on it and give a stir…..just make sure no steam gets in or it will get wrecked
