Heroes' Future Is "Very Secure"

Don't worry Heroes fans (The two of you left), NBC's primetime entertainment president Angela Bromstad says that the show's future is "very secure."

The comic book-based drama started out with ratings through the roof, but has since experienced a decline. In its third season, it's scarcely surpassed the 10 million viewers mark.

But at NBC's recent Television Critics Association press tour, Bromstad said the network has a great relationship with show creator Tim Kring and that they remain dedicated to responsible production.

So both of you Heroes fans can rest easy.

      I just wanted to tell you that your site has become ridiculously LAME for a number of reasons….T*M*Z* is waaaaaay more entertaining.       Heroes is not a comic-book based show. The comic books are based on the tv show. Do some research once in a while. By the way Heroes has more viewers then 90210 and gossip girl combined.

      Perez. Srsly. I agree with you about most things and I usually laugh even if I don't, but why do you gotta pick on Heroes? It's the BEST show on TV by far, and I don't say that only due to my own bias, but because it's well made, well acted, dynamic, exciting, creative… and more. I can't say enough good things. I have my own group of Heroes-loving friends, and I can certainly say there's more than two of us! Watch it and give it a chance, k?

      The Writers Strike is what killed this show. It lost all momentum when the second season had to be cut short. Way to go writers!

      I do love Heroes, and still watch. But I can't deny it's started kinda' sucking like Lost did for a bit. Like I did with Lost; I'm gonna stick this slump out for a bit more. I also have a friend who works on the show and it super expensive to make and if the rating don't get better. . . it will be cancelled.

Apparently, we as Americans are STARVED for entertainment/culture….I am SICK of scripted "reality" shows, movies based on a fuckin' comic book and comic books based on fuckin' movies! I'm all for fantasy vs. reality, but COME ON! Teenagers with superpowers?!?! With writers like this I'm surprised H'wood can produce ANYTHING!
