Or so implies some of her NYC neighbors.
According to reports, Soledad O'Brien is part of a movement trying to get the Lyons family evicted from a NYC apartment building she resides in because her apartment clique doesn't like the family's dog, a 150-pound mastiff.
O'Brien apparently complained, in a 20-page affidavit submitted to the apartment board, about the pooch's "size, slobbering, shedding, drooling, gassiness and odors."
The family has resided in the building since 2003 and brought the dog into the family in 2007. There are no 'rules' in the apartment building's bylaws prohibiting pet ownership.
Then what's the problem, Soledad???????
To minimize the dog's interaction with the apartment building's other residents, the Lyons family allegedly offered to use the freight elevator to walk the dog, but the board refused to allow it.
Hey, the fam is trying!
The patriarch of the Lyons brood said about Soledad, "Her behavior has been particularly outrageous." His wife chimed in, "She did get in my face. What's the matter? Aren't you talking to me?" she said O'Brien asked her.
The Lyons family will be appearing at NYC's Housing Court to defend their dog soon.
A lawyer repping the family told the media, "No family should have to decide between its own shelter and putting the family pet in a shelter."
O'Brien's rep did not provide a comment.
So this is the type of stuff the Mean Girls do after high school!
