"Like an unchecked cancer, hate corrodes the personality and eats away its vital unity. Hate destroys a man's sense of values and his objectivity. It causes him to describe the beautiful as ugly and the ugly as beautiful, and to confuse the true with the false and the false with the true."
Reverend Martin Luther King Jr.

Re: loismustdie –
go take your bullshit some place else.
seriously, you're so immature for that comment.
go die.
LONG LIVE MLK!
goosebumps. a true hero and inspiration. rest in peace, Mr. King.
I thank God and the Universe for you Dr. King. Happy Birthday. You being an Aquarius means a lot. You're creative, knowing, and many times put in a position that you truly don't want to be. I thank you and your crew for fighting the good fight. I also thank all those who lost their lives during the struggle both black, white and the children. As you probably see from above, we still have some black folks still lost in the mix, selling their soles in Hollyweird trying to be like the white folks but it looks more like the return of the minstrel show with slow talking and jiving all the time. Some black folks of today have lost their soul and now dance out of step to please white folks. Sort of like the House N-word. This type of behavior or stereotype is also happening in businesses and on the streets.
(Part 2) Any way, I truly believe in you and you have also been one of my mentors. I have your teachings in my heart but every once and while I have to use modern day tactics and kick someone's ass after warning them 3 times and even when I turn my back and walk away. People of today have become retard, famous for doing nothing and thinking that their important. They don't care nor understand that there is more to life than faking it 24-7 in Hollyweird (and the rest of the world) and that they've made to honest contribution to anything accept make the pockets of their Publicists fatter. Enough of this crap, Happy Birthday, Dr. King!!!! And finally, thanks for pathing the way for Obama. I know the heaven are rejoining! Se'lah
AMEEEEEN!
Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day! Awesome speech!
Either we go up together or we go down together. Let us develop a kind of dangerous unselfishness.
–Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Mr.King is someone you can really look up to!
Re: loismustdie – Apparently everybody posting but you.
I WONDER IF BARACK WOULD HAVE BECOME PRESIDENT, IF HE WASNT RAISED BY A WHITE MOM AND GRANDMOM. PROBABLY NOT, ESPECIALLY SINCE HIS DAD LEFT HIM WHEN HE WAS A KID.
I WANT TO BELIEVE THE WORLD WILL BE A BETTER PLACE.
WE WILL CONTINUE TO LOVE, FIGHT AND MAKE UP!
PEACE!

Re: Mentalist – Idiot, moron, boob, nimwit, skinhead, nazi, I could go on forever singing your praises. Change your name to Mental Retardist. It's fitting.
The best speech ever!
He knew he was going to die. He knew it before it happened. I heard that last year off of NPR.
Dr. Matin Luther King was not an Aquarius. He was born on January 15, 1229. That would make a Capricorn.
Re: kerkieberkie – - Yes, I agree with you. I, too, believe he knew he was going to die. And he was killed the next day after making this speech. The others in the hotel room with him that day before he stepped out onto the balcony walk-way said he'd seemed at peace after making the speech. He'd been on edge for a while because of recent death threats the F.B.I. had deemed as credible.

B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L. He knew he didn't have long, this speech tells it. We were lucky to have him though. I hope one day the world will be as he envisioned it…LOVE, PEACE and COMPASSION FOR YOUR FELLOW MAN.
