He never looks like he's actually just holding her hand to be romantic–it looks like Tom is afraid that Katie will just bolt if given the chance and so he grasps her hand like there's no tomorrow.       its actually really common that woman slouch when involved with shorter men- i myself am 5'8" and with heels about 5'10" or so, and i would slouch with an ex and even when we werent together it became a habit- its crazy because we dont even realize we are doing it, its like a polite thing to do for the guy or something! oh well, just a little 'fun' factoid:)
