Original Karate Kid Doesn't Agree With Remake

Ralph Macchio - the original Karate Kid - does not approve of the Will and son Jayden Smith remake.
Macchio is pretty sure the flick will flop because he says that the public is sick and tired of studios making crappy remakes.
In a new interview, Ralph says, "From my personal view, filling the void of what Mr. Miyagi was - and the magic of that character - is going to be the toughest task. I don't know where the romantic story-arc goes [with Jayden Smith] at that age."

I'm sure daddy Smith has already taught his kid to use the same catchphrases and character in all of his movies. The general public seems to love unoriginal, over hyped, mediocre talent (as evidenced by the popularity of jonas brothers and cyrus), so I'm sure the remake will be a box office hit.

Jayden is very far advanced and needs to be in movies like Dakota Fanning. Jayden needs to be in smart movies.
