Bush Already Forgotten

Guess only Fox News really cares about George Bush any longer.
Tuesday, when it seemed like the entire world was watching Barack Obama's inauguration, Fox News was the only major television network that showed a live telecast of Bush's homecoming speech in Midland, Texas.
So, what'd ya miss?????
Bush said during his speech that "Sometimes what I did wasn't popular. But that's OK. I always did what I thought was right. It is a great day because we got to come home once and for all. I come home with my head held high. The presidency was a joyous experience, but as great as it was, nothing compares with Texas at sunset. Tonight I have the privilege of saying six words that I have been waiting to say for a while: It iis good to be home."
As for Bush and the former First Lady, the spent their first night out of office at his Crawford ranch after the speech.

Re: PacDan – Yes they do. I hate all these people on here that say liberals only bash when they don't get their way… I think both sides do a bunch of mudslinging. It's fine if republicans don't like the way you live your life, its another thing to discriminate against it. If you're against gay marriage dont get one.
Re: eatmoremonkey – I can only guess that you are either unemployed, a high school student, maybe a community college student, and living off of someone else's money, but I do know that you do not work for a living, pay taxes or support a family.
Re: Shastamagic – I make well over $250,000 a year and I have no problems being taxed more. I know more rich democrats then I do republicans.
F**k ALL YOU BUSH HATERS. YOU ALL SUCK D**K!!!!
Go home, old man, and smoke some chronic with Harold and Kumar!! It'll do ya good….
Re: Italian Princess – Wow you come off like the most intelligent person on here
Maybe Perez has "forgotten" that the Bush adminstration had spent a RECORD 6 billion on the fight against aids.
Some of the comments on here are disgusting.
We can agree or disagree but to be disrespectful is another thing.
Who?
.
.
THAT BITCH WIFE OF HIS WAS THE MOST WORTHLESS FIRST LADY OF ALL TIME, FITTING MATCH THOSE TWO!
.
for everyone who says we should respect the office of the president, and for the 18% of you who approved of the job he was doing, you can go ahead and do that, but i will continue to respect the PERSON who is in office.
and bush has NONE of my respect what so ever.
seeing him get booed by 2 million people yesterday was great, and watching him get airlifted FAR FAR FAR away from washington was great too. the perfect message to send im away with. as far as im concerned, hes luckey that was the ONLY thing he got tossed his way. he should be greatful he wasent impeached. (although he should have been)
just thinking about him angers me. so ill finish by using the words that everyone said when he came out yesterday.
"NAH NAH NAH NAH HEY HEY HEY GOODBYE."
He is a good and decent man. I am glad that Fox showed some of his speech. As I recall Former Presidnet Clinton competed for coverage when he left office 8 years ago. He even inspected the troops after he left office and the news channels followed him every minute.
It really sickens me to see how many people have absolutely NO respect for the office of presidency. You don't have to like the decisions he made to PROTECT you, but you should certainly respect the man for working endlessly for 8 years for your benefit. I hope Obama does a good job; he has my support. And although I doubt it would happen anyway, I hope he is treated with the respect none of you offered George W. Bush. God bless him, I hope he can enjoy his life peacefully now.

You'd be happy to leave if you were treated the way he was. Just look at the way he's disrespected on this website alone.
I'm so sickened at the way this man has been treated. He's not an evil person. To the rest of the world, it makes us look like a bunch of rude, shallow idiots. Oh wait, maybe we are.
Re: AlexPoland – If you make well over $250,000 a year then you must have rich man's guilt. See me, I am a working stiff, who gets paid well below what you make and I have to count all my pennies to make sure that I can pay for my own food, insurance, and housing. I don't get any government funding and I am barely getting by. For my job, I work with people who are on all sorts of government entitlement programs, ones you probably didn't even know existed. They all whine and complain about how hard life is, even though they all don't work, watch TV all day and collect money and benefits they didn't work for. And the one thing that upsets me the most….the all have top of the line cell phones! I don't mind paying taxes for projects that benefit the many (police, fire, roads), not ones that benefit the few (welfare, medical, food stamps) If someone is going to give you money, food, and housing, why would you ever work for it.
Just because you hate the man doesn't mean his speech isn't newsworthy.
disappear already! you are a shame to this country i'd say move away but i think your safer here
PEREZ, YOU ARE PROVING THE OBVIOUS….The liberal media in this country it's totally corrupt and the Obamania is embarrasing. President Bush was our leader for 8 years, and he deserve the same respect liberal are DEMANDING for Obama, which have done NOTHING for his country yet.
Today I'm glad that FOX exist, why? Because if other channels were not reporting this, they are simply don't doing their jobs and proves they all are working for only one man, one party and one agenda.-
And you think this is good for our country. Suprese information? I can't beleive this will not scared you!…Thanks Fox!
Re: PacDan – Darling Republicans didn't destroyed Bill Clinton, Bill Clinton destroyed himself when he fuck in the Oval office and LIED about it…Under Oath!…
And please I will love to know the name of the "historians" who said Bush will go down in history as the worst president….Who are they..Do they work for MSNBC or The New York Times? Those kind of "historians"? Give me a fucking break!
President Bush keep us save for 8 fucking years, he was not AFRAID of the assholes that want to kill us and in case you don't know, President Bush was the president who gave more money for Africa…..Hope your "historians" will know that!
Re: jessnola – AMEN!
Re: jessnola – I couldn't have put it any better myself!
I have lived in Midland all my life. It makes me sick that bush was here riling up all the rednecks on the most important presidential inaguration of my lifetime…I am ashamed of being from here…
I usually just read what you bold in certain articles to get to the point but what is wrong what he says there?.. trust me i couldnt be happier then anyone that Obama is now in office but majority of the nation did vote for Bush for a second term and therefore voted to give him the right to do what he thought was right… we cant criticize him saying this, when majority of the country voted for him Again– but I believe this is more of a time to look forward.. hes a past president and will undoubtedly be remembered– Yesterday was a day we will all remember and a huge day in history and whether we chose to recognize it or not Bush is a part of it.. if it werent for some of his mistakes i dont believe we would have felt as strong, powerful, and united as we did yesterday– so we should look at it in this more positive view then continuing to criticize him– its done with
Re: DSummerfan – its called lying under oath not getting a blow job
GOOD RIDDANCE YOU FUCKIN ASSHOLE…………..
Re: Mary-Kate – FUCK OFF
Re: Candy Striper – Are you stupid and dumb? They've been talking about since last week, they were the 1st to talk about the troops leaving if Hamas would disarm and it had nothing to do with Obama, get your facts straight.
Re: OHITSRYAN – You're an idiot.
Re: silverfox – You must be looking in the mirror at yourself when you say things like that.
Re: silverfox – #125-126.

Re: Shastamagic – You are so right! The Obama supporters don't know what work is, they only want a hand out. There were so many people on TV saying they were so glad he is the President because now they don't have to worry about paying their bills, or for their home because Obama will pay for it…I couldn't even believe people were talking like that…I thought for sure it was a joke, but person after person yesterday were crying about how they are saved now. I was like, so we just send all our bills to the White House or what? Most Obama supporters have no sense!
Re: ~curlygirly~ – Then you should move away…like to a communist country where you can get hand out from the government.
I'm Republican. That said, I hope Mr.Bush contracts a rare, painful cancer that has him in agony for the rest of his life. What he did to the GOP brand is unforgivable.
Re: StacyMacyPacy – ouch. im so hurt. i think im going to cry myself to sleep now and think about how wrong i am for not not being one of 18% who continue to suck bushes dick and pretend he did a good job.
btw another fun fact for everyone. the wall street journal posted an article today in which they tallied up the ammount of vacation days bush took in his 8 years. in total he was on vacation for 1020 days while in office. so technicly he wasent even president for 3 of his 8 years. LOL
FAILURE.
While he made mistakes like any president, he and Laura are fine and gracious human beings. I hope history gives him the respect he deserves. Have a great life in Texas, W.
People's lack of respect for the office of President is discusting. No wonder why kids today show no respect, its learned from your parents. People have made America look like a joke. I travel the world and we are no longer looked at the same way, we are looked at with pity & discussed. Its embarassing.
Re: Shastamagic – I guess we will never be a united nation, with people like you around. Remember that the people who are Republicians have business's that employee people, they also give money to the poor. You are no better then anyone else, you just have a different opinon.
Get over it, and pray for Obama to keep his promises and do whats right for the people. Time to stop pointing fingers and do something to make things better.
Re: Ma the meatloaf – because bush has ruined all of our reputation and and allies around the world.
Re: Shastamagic – I am not going to lie, I grew up with a very wealthy family and i have had every advantage handed to me on a silver spoon. I grew up with the best health insurance, I drove expensive cars, private school, designer clothes, and my education (all the way up to my phd) was paid for. Everyone in my family is a democrat for other reasons then just taxes and welfare (there are other issues). You saying that all democrats are unemployed or have gone to community college is beyond ignorant. Now let's teach you some lessons. My ex boyfriend (yes, I am gay) grew up on welfare. that welfare helped his mother get their lives back in order and get a job. This enabled him to go to college and eventually medical school and guess what? He has done amazing, highly regarded and well documented research on brain disease. If someone on welfare today will eventually grow up and cure cancer/aids - would you have a problem with that?
Bush was one of the best presidents ever and history will see it that way. Obama SUCKS
Re: loismustdie – 'Lest you forget the pride….' What pride? Are you serious? We attacked Iraq because Bush wanted us to believe there were weapons of mass destruction, that's my recollection. I suggest you are confusing pride with revenge.
Re: jessnola – Gotta hand it to Bush because he really handled Katrina well. New Orleans has him alone to thank for his clarity of vision and the resolute, forward thinking actions of his crisis management team. NOT!
Re: dall-gal – Having been born and raised in Dallas it makes me sick to think he will be welcomed there.
When he was Governor of Texas he thought it was a good idea to balance the state budget on the backs of public school teachers. He signed legislation which forced public school personnel to pick between receiving their teacher's retirement pension funds and their Social Security funds. He did not favor a school teacher being able to collect from both sources despite having paid into both programs.
And on behalf of the nation, I'd like to add that we are indeed all thrilled to have you at home!
Buh bye, feel sorry for Texas. Fox only gave him the damn airtime because he has family who works for Fox news
Re: Shastamagic – Nah, I'm just busy bangin your mom! By the way, she's a lousy lay. She really doesn't live up to all the hype written on the bathroom walls.
fuck all of you quote "democrats"! you are completely CLASS-LESS!!!!
this man, love him or not, was our President for 8 years! people voted him in office! he's a good person but probably too nice to be the president because u gotta be an asshole for that job
god bless our new mulatto prez
Re: jessnola –
thank u jessnola!
Re: NYHeart13 –
eff u
Re: b a t k i s s –
u are retarded
Without Bush, Fox will have to focus on criticizing the Democrats. Imagine!!!
Gee, if he wanted to be back in Texas so bad, why didn't he resign on Sep 12, 2001?
is it true the wife may be leaving him?
u really cannot blame her.
