Criss Angel's Vegas Show In Crisis!

As we mentioned last month, Criss Angel's new Cirque du Soleil show, Believe, opened to very very bad reviews.
Even large publications have bashed the shiteous show.
And now, in what looks to be a sign of bad times for the show, tickets are already being offered at almost half price!
The official Cirque site mentions everyone can enjoy "A Haunting Journey with Criss Angel at 40% Off."
Only 40% off? Maybe if it were free people would be willing to go watch it.
The site adds:
"CRISS ANGEL Believe is a haunting exploration deep inside the inventive mind of mystifyer Criss Angel as he hovers between the land of the living and a surreal world. Enjoy 40% off tickets to select performances to CRISS ANGEL Believe!"
Wonder if the show's closing is coming anytime soon?

I actually went to this show thinking "It really couldn't be that bad, could it?" And Oh Dear GOD it was AWFUL! If it just had the Cirque du Soleil parts without him ever saying a word…it would've been a hell of a lot better. I wanted to walk out the second he started up with a really pitiful attempt at acting.
Times is hard. Plus, he is a fucking tool, yeah.

I was in Vegas for Christmas and New Years and his show was sold out everyday… I tired to get tickets and was unable to so we saw a zummanity.
My guess is he is going to make it just fine.
Wasn't Criss Angel supposedly helping Britney with her disastrous VMA Award production number in 2007? Maybe he needs to be her back and have his show close completely….

Even my 6 year old knows magic is bs. He calls them "cool tricks" and wants to know how it was done.
My point is that magic is a dead "art" sort of like being a vantriliquist. It's just so vaudvillian, outdated. It doesn't translate with people anymore.

actually i have seen the show and i liked it. maybe the reason people don't get it is because they are coming in expecting magic and it is not what the show is about. yes there are some illusions, but the story line is about what Criss sees in a medicated induced state after getting hurt doing one of his magic tricks. (it has kind of a wizard of oz feel to it with a Cirque ambiance in the mix) Maybe you just need a bigger brain to understand it or to see more than one cirque show to understand how these shows work. i'm not saying it's perfect by any means (criss can definitely use some acting classes). The Dance numbers in the show are awesome and yes they are selling out tickets like crazy. so i think people need to see it open mindedly before judging.

I got an email from the Cirque club and all of the Cirque shows in Vegas were discounted. That includes Zumanity, O, Mystere and Ka. In case you haven't noticed, the economy is sucking and no one has money for vacations and shows. And how many shows have closed on Broadway? If his show does close, I don't think it is all Criss' fault. And you can also get any show ticket in Vegas for 50% off at the "half price ticket" outlets that are all over the strip. It isn't just his show that is "failing". Even Folies at the Tropicana is closing. Stop hating Perez.
Since Criss is going this route (of dating skanks) - why not take it all the way and POSE FOR PLAYGIRL CRISS?
Come on Playgirl, step up and make Criss an offer - I'm sure if its high enough he will do FULL FRONTAL! Why not, he is PROUD to be associated with someone who does it, drags her into his family, etc., why not POSE YOURSELF CRISS? Now I (and several hundred others) would PAY to see this! Whoever reps Criss has NO idea how to promote this guy - they need to be CANNED!! If they think for one moment that the way to promote Criss (didn't he USED TO BE KNOWN as a Master Illusionist - wasn't that his 'dream'??) is to USE HIM to promote ALL THEIR OTHER SKANK CLIENTS, they are SADLY MISTAKEN.
