      I do understand that the U.S. nation is celebrating and that they hope for change and better times. It is of course nice to see that the new president is totally in love with his wife. Good for them. But I personally think it is strange when the new government spends so much money for an inaugaration when your country obviously has a huge financial problem. It is a joke in my opinion. Yes, sure it is a special moment, the first black president and the end of the Bush-disaster but I think it was too much. As Porodika (below) writes they should give the nation an example in sacrificing. Be an idol and don't spend so much money for a party. There will be tougher times. Anyway, watching this whole ceremony yesterday, it felt more like a wedding plus Oscars plus Thansgiving and X-mas on one day than a political mattter. Yeah, maybe it would be easier for me to understand if I would be an U.S. citizen but now I feel that it is all a joke and I feel angry. I just think it is not fair to the people who have voted him and who have trust and who have hopes and who dream of a better future.
      However, I think Obama is a charismatic man, he looks intelligent and I hope he will lead the U.S. in the way you (we) all hope for.

      Am I the only one to have noticed Beowoulf's horrendous choice in dresses? Her nipples were visible and if it weren't for the director smartly pulling in on just her face after realizing that her aeorlas would distract from the beautiful moment they were broadcasting she would have ruined it even more than she did for me. I can't believe the blogs haven't picked up on this. I noticed it straight off last night on tv. Someone needs to get these women a big spotlight after they get dressed so they can see if the dresses are too revealing even if it's just the shape of the aerolas and nipples it's still TACKY! Get thee some pasties stat.

      Okay so i was on here and i was looking around at the different posts and this video pops up of the Obamas at one of the many balls they went to. This particular clip should be familiar to many its the "At Last" by Etta James in the style of Beyonce clip. I may have my own thoughts about her but i dont know the lady we have met a time or two but thats the extent. I just wanted to make that clear that I am not one of those women bitter from jealously nothing like that….. HOWEVER WTF BEYONCE. First you steal a song from BC Jean and now you steal the moment from the President! What a B!TCH! I understand the song is powerful the moment was powerful but one thing someone should have told her before walking on stage was that everyone was there to see the Obamas. The riffing and running was uncalled for and really took the focus off the couple hell they stop paying attention to themselves and just stood there and watched her! She took that romantic mellow vibe right out of the song and overpowered it and made it cheap with all the rumbling and riffing.

      I think some idiot said that "At Last" would be good because it speaks to the fact that we have a black president ….at last and she was a bigger idiot for the performance. When you do something well people will think you've done nothing at all, an excellent performance would make everyone melt from the sound but not distract from the visual Example "Unchained Melody" in ghost when she is saying goodbye. The song pulls at the heart strings and the visual is the finisher, you hear the words because you are feeling them
