OK, so she's a princess. But Perez, at least she's been very consistent as far as what her image is. And face it, with the tabloid press, the gossip blogs, and the papparazzi, she has been covered 24/7 for years. That she is still GOT a positive image of any kind is almost a miracle. Especially when you consider that all those media are just waiting for her to mess up. I get jealous of her, yeah, bcz she is obviously so protected, and at the same time manages to stay in the spotlight. There is a lesson in the way her people have handled Beyonce. Trust me, she's just as conceited as she's perceived to be. I went to school with this girl, we both were at the same hairshop and I knew her parents. They were complete jerks. Actually, Aaliyah was part of the R&B generation that came right before the breakout of Britney Spears and Destiny's Child. It was Aaliyah, Brandy, and Monica back then that shared the market. From there, the music scene exploded with new faces.
