Through investigations, education, campaigns and demonstrations we have exposed the horror of the fur trade and helped establish and continue anti-fur actions across Britain. We have filmed undercover in fur farms, lobbied for a ban on fur farming and persuaded dozens of shops to stop selling real fur.
We also work with anti-fur groups across the world. The fur industry is a global one so our fight against it should work on an international level too."

Half the time if not most times they dont take fur from a dead animal but rather they torture them while the animals are alive…………..Check out the PETA videos, they show you how they hang alive animals and just take their fur…….its very disturbing to know that some actually support this

Re: LULU~* – Animals don't have voices to speak up for themselves, people do. Someone needs to be their voice. It's illegal to skin a human being or kill them for any reason, but it's not illegal to do that to animals. That's why these animals need these people.
I'm reversing myself - people should donate their time and money to the charity of their choice.

Truthfully, I really don't get so much time and money spent on animals given that some of the same folks have no trouble with cows, chix, turkey (remember that gruesome Palin tape?? Ewww !) being slaughtered for food.

Hey I would be classed as very left but animal charities before human lives is despicable if you would rather donate money to a dogs home than to saving someone's life around the world you sicken me where are your priorities in life? People wear fur :O Lots of people eat meat but that's OK because animals dying then is good? It's all so hypocritical slap on a fur coat and nibble on some KFC =]

They do not seem to be so much against fur, per se, as against the manner in which it is produced. Therefore, their efforts would be better put to use by working constructively with the fur industry to alter production methods resulting in a product that all could be happy with. Would this be so difficult for those simpletons to do?

you guys are all sick to think that this is not a worthwhile cause. everyone really should watch the videos on peta and see what is done to the poor innocent animals. its terrible! and it's all just for some ignorant people to wear their fur, i can't stand people who wear fur.
Animals were put here for us to eat and get clothing.
