Dakota Fanning Confirms New Moon Talks

In a new interview, the all-grown-up Dakota Fanning confirms that she is indeed in talks to play Jane, the deadly Italian vampire in the Twilight sequel, New Moon, as we had previously reported.

Says Fanning, "I really hope that works out. I think it's too soon to tell right now, but it'd be really fun. I'm a huge fan."

She'll surely be the envy of her cheerleading buddies, should this work out!

      i dont have anything against dakota fanning. but why is it that now that Twilight has made all this money all these actors want to jump on the Twilight bandwagon? let just say if this movie would have not made shit at the box office no one would even be interested. i loved Twilight because they kept it simple. you appreciated the actors for there acting talent.not because they were famous beforehand. hello??? does robert pattinson (who i love dearly) mean anything. he is literally an overnight success. Summit Entertainment needs to stay with the new and upcoming actors. i think getting all of these famous actors would just ruin New Moon.

      Re: RiaanDuRand – definitely. i think bc you can see the breakup coming and you want her to see it but she doesn't and then she has to learn to exist without edward. plus i've been through that whole breakup thing where time flips by and you dont even realize how much time has gone by. and then it just makes it that much better when edward shows up again and you see how much he really loves her. it's so sweet.
