Woman Gives Birth To Octuplets!!!!
When humans start breeding having babies like animals, that's just CRAZY!
A woman gave birth to EIGHT babies in a hospital outside of Los Angeles on Monday - and to make this even crazier - she was only expecting seven!
This is only the second time in human history that a woman has given birth to octuplets. The first time was in Texas in December of 1998. Unfortunately, one of those eight passed away after delivery.
The mother to the octuplets born on Monday in Bellflower, California, is going to have a lot of testosterone in the house.
She gave birth to six boys and two girls.
It took two doctors to help with the deliveries, and it was all carefully orchestrated well in advance.
The woman, obviously, gave birth via c-section.
The six boys and two girls were born between 10 43 a.m. and 10:48 a.m, the doctors said. The babies each weighed between 1 pound and 15 ounces to 3 pounds and four ounces.
The doctors got quite a surprise when they discovered there was an eight baby there!
“My eyes got to be the size of saucers,” Dr. Karen Maples said when it became obvious there was an eighth child. “We just went on and delivered the babies.”
“The orchestrated delivery went off without a hitch,” added Dr. Harold Henry. “The babies are all doing well and the mom is also doing well. There were no complications from the surgery to the best of my knowledge."
Henry said that hospital physicians and their assistants practiced two dry runs ahead of time. “We planned well and it was well executed,” he said. Maples said there were 46 people involved in the deliveries.
“It was exciting, a little anxious,” she said. “But we were prepared.” She said the mother should be released in a week but that the babies would probably remain in the hospital for at least two months.

Just cuz the babies were born in Bellflower does not mean they live in Bellflower. That is the big Kaiser Hospital for that area including Downey and Lakewood. I had all of my kids at that place many years ago. I can't imagine having a litter of 8! That's crazy.

I thought of you this morning - our newspaper headlines here are all about the fact that Obama has called virtually all the world leaders except our Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd and the powers that be are trying to decide if it's a snub. I know this makes me an awful person, but the thought of this makes me want to puke. I'm just picturing her lying there with her stomach ripped opened and the doctors sticking their hands in and pulling baby after baby after baby out. Its like something out of a horror movie.
This is why I don't believe in IVF. If you can't have a child naturally that means that something may be wrong with your genes and that you just shouldn't force children into this world. If you do, you end up with Frankensteines. Only time will tell what these implanted babies will end up to be like…for now it's experimenting with life. Make the world a better place and adopt next time biatch!

Great. Now the taxpayers can pick up the tab for this idiot who knocked herself up into oblivion with fertility drugs, had a litter, most — if not all — of whom will have medical problems for the rest of their lives — if they live. Eight kids with one set of parents spells psychological torture for all involved. These parents are to be reviled, not lauded.
I'm quite worried for the infants. Hopefully, the kids will grow to maturity since their life expectancy is very slim. More than the half of the eight might not even survive past infancy or childhood.
I just wish the family the best and pray that these babies will get the chance to experience life to its fullest. With today's medical advancements, they might have a chance after all.

With that many babies, I don't see how parents can bond with them, since they most likely be raised by a group of volunteers until they get older. Why put yourself and your kids through that?

A litter of babies. Each one will barely get any personal attention. Think of it - feeding 8 whining and demanding babies at every meal. The laundry, the diapers, the endless poop…..maybe they'll get their own t.v. show like Jon & Kate Plus 8 and get rich. Plus the Gosselins are starting school soon so there's a vacancy coming up.

All babies are a blessing but damn..eight at one time is just ridiculous! I'm sure the happy couple will be looking for handouts for their team of babies. This is a recession but I think someone forgot to mention it to them. They'd better be well off because it would make no good sense to have that many at one time and not be able to financially take care of them. Good luck to them all!

I've been trying to have a baby for two years now. I'd give anything for a baby. But I wouldn't risk any of their lives by trying to carry seven (or eight) babies. I think my limit would be four (maybe three!).
There are 2 nipples on the female body… not 8… Damn I think mother nature was trying to tell us something….

I'm sure I'll be paying for the kids with my paycheck, somehow. Can you imagine the doctors and hospitals bills this woman has incurred? Whether or not insurance pays for part or all of this, which I doubt, we all wonder why no one can afford medical insurance in America.
