Michella Obama Is Pissed

Michella Obama is pissed about those new dolls which resemble her daughters, Malia and Sasha.
Michelle has issued a statement saying, "We believe it is inappropriate to use young, private citizens for marketing purposes."
The dolls are called "Marvelous Malia" and "Sweet Sasha".
It's not the first time that the Prez's kids have been commercialized. Doug Wead, author of All the Presidents’ Children, said it's difficult to resist the children because they are so "spontaneous," which is fascinating in a setting such as the White House.
The doll manufacturers aren't commenting on the First Lady's statements.

actually they did comment perez… the statement was something along the lines of sasha and malia are beautiful names and the dolls are in no way ment associated with the presidents children.

Michelle Obama has the right to make a statement about manufacturers creating dolls that look like her daughters. Every mother tries to protect her children. Although Michelle is the first lady and no matter what they will be in the limelight but, the children should have normal lives. They are adoreable ! But the girls are young and they should normal childhoods! There are already dolls for young girls out there hello? Barbies what like 50! And Barbie is still very popular! Michelle Obama is right try and keep her girl's childhoods as normal as possible! Im sure it is hard with there father being president but that is his job! Which should be just as normal as any other dad that has an important job!! Ok, Michelle…here's the scoop. For the last 18 months you have put those two young "private citizens" on display for the world to see. They have been interviewed countless times. You all understood the gig would make all of you very public people.
I can see Mama Obama's point but her girls are adorable and the dolls are too. Little girls will love them. So why not have her daughters as positive role models?
