I have every book you've written on my bookshelves right next to Fitzgerald, Hemingway, Faulkner and Tolstoy.. You are one of the best .

He has passed into legend. His writing is canonical- the man himself will be missed.

$10 says this is the first time perez ever heard of him.

Would hate for you to have to type more than THREE sentences for someone who earned a Pulitzer. Would hate for you to actually do some work on a story

    24. 24

Aww. Wow. We just finished studying his works in my lit class.

RIP! What a great writer. He won every major writing award. He will be missed.

Oh no. He was my favorite contemporary American author. His Rabbit series contained some of the funniest, misogynistic yet human novels I have ever read. One of them won the Pulitzer (Rabbit Run, I think…). Goodbye, John. I love you.

    27. 27

Great loss…Rabbit Run is a classic.

    28. 28

augusten burroughs is going to be feeling very guilty about this.

    29. 29

Yeah Perez, like you ever read any of the Rabbit series.
