MTV has picked up WhitWhit's 'reality' show, The City, for a second season.

MTV needs to change its name to R ('Reality')TV!

      I never watched the Hills and all of those shows, BUT The City actually works for me! I enjoy watching it.. and I'm more of a True Blood kinda guy. Maybe it's from also living in NYC and working in the same industry, but it's not all that bad!

      This show sucks. it is so fake it's not even funny. She moves to NY and magically gets this multimillion dollar apartment and a million dollars worth of furniture and decor appear out of nowhere! shes got a million friends even tho she just moved there….at work they sit around at their desks and talk. it paints the wrong picture of what NY and the fashion industry really is. It's a lot of hard work! working long hours….not 2 hour lunch breaks at fancy restaurants and cocktail parties afterward.

      I usually consider myself an "intelligent" T.V. watcher (Dexter, True Blood, lots of news) but i must admit i ruin it by watching The Hills and The City. I really can't help myself. I LOVE EM AND I KNOW IT MAKES ME A FUCKIN DOUCHE! I'm straight but my addiction to these 2 shows make me questionable.

      I watch. Yeah it's fake and reality shows are trashy entertainment but I love them anyway! Plus, I find that The City is more entertaining than the Hills, although it is only the first season and it'll probably just get lamer over time.
